Faces of Paralysis: June
Faces of Paralysis subject, June, was paralyzed following a surgical procedure. The previously active grandmother of seven was devastated. After the injury she was only able to walk a few feet using a walker. A wheelchair was her main mode of getting around. As part of her recovery process at The Miami Project, she has been participating in research training programs to improve outcomes for individuals with spinal cord injury.
