NOVEMBER 2009 – Nordstrom Aventura and MIAMI magazine co-hosted Guide to Men’s Style, a unique fashion event for men with Tom Julian, author of the Nordstrom Guide to Men’s Style, on Thursday, November 12. The event, entirely underwritten by Nordstrom, helped raise important funds for The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, the fundraising arm of The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, and showcased some of the top fall fashions for men.
Over 500 guests had the opportunity to meet and mingle with Tom Julian, and to experience a one-of-a-kind fashion presentation featuring the newest looks from Canterbury of New Zealand, Diesel, G-Star, Hickey Freeman, Hugo Boss, Robert Graham, Rock & Republic, True Religion and Versace.
“We are thrilled to be the beneficiary of this distinctive event, especially in advance of the busy holiday season. Our friends at Nordstrom and Miami magazine understand the difficulties of those of us living with paralysis and are committed to helping us get closer to our goal of a cure for paralysis,” said Marc Buoniconti, president of The Miami Project and The Buoniconti Fund.
In addition, Nordstrom stylists were available to assist guests in finding the look that is right for them. Guests also enjoyed cocktails, savory treats and music from a live DJ.
