The Miami Project participated in a large multi-ce

The Miami Project participated in a large multi-center clinical trial published in Nature Medicine that evaluated the safety and efficacy of ARC Therapy to improve arm and hand functions in people with chronic spinal cord injury.

Researchers found 72% of those studied experienced meaningful improvements in strength and function.

“This is one of the first, if not the first, pivotal trial to be conducted in spinal cord injury that was successful in most of the participants,” said Miami Project principal investigator James D. Guest, M.D., Ph.D., professor of neurological surgery.
