The Miami Project 2019 Research Review
The Miami Project Research Review magazine is available now in digital format. This issue includes updates from our laboratories, including how our scientists have adapted their strategies for reaching the community during a pandemic. Read about new cell-based strategies targeting spinal cord injury, including stem cells and exosomes, that are being evaluated by our researchers. This edition of our Research Review includes a special feature by Emma Reyes, who describes a day in the life of a person living with a spinal cord injury. This past year, The Miami Project’s scientists were exceptionally productive, publishing nearly 150 peer-reviewed articles in top scientific journals. With the support of more than 90 grants from government agencies and foundations, as well as the generosity of our donors, we are moving closer to the ultimate goal of finding a cure for paralysis and other neurological diseases and disorders.
