The Research section of our website offers information about research activities and the results of our broad scope of basic science and clinical research. If you want to know how to be considered for clinical trials and studies, see Becoming a Research Participant. For information related to obtaining care and living with SCI, follow the links to resource information found in the Paralysis Section.

The Miami Project is not a patient care facility. Miami Project research and education staff may provide general information on SCI and other neurological disorders but cannot provide specific medical or clinical advice or recommendations on individual cases. For information on obtaining individualized evaluations and recommendations, please see the Resources for Care Section.

To get a sense of the status of research progress, we invite you to review our Newsletters, Research Reviews, Frequently Asked Questions and Publications sections.
