Sleep Disordered Breathing in Chronic SCI: A Randomized Controlled Trial of Treatment impact on Cognition, Quality of Life, and Cardiovascular Disease

Purpose

To examine the effect of PAP therapy for sleep apnea on thinking (especially memory, learning, and concentration), quality of life, sleep quality, and risks for future heart (cardiovascular) problems in people with chronic SCI.

 

Criteria

Motor complete or incomplete, C5-L1,traumatic spinal injury; 18-65 years old; ≥1 year post-injury.

 

Duration

4 months total
